Patrick Ghielmetti is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual global leader who is hugely passionate about “changing the world – one leader at a time.”
Patrick has experience in 35 countries as a facilitator of dynamic, transformational, experiential leadership programs and as a behavior-based executive coach.
As a solution-oriented catalyst for change, his focus is on bottom-line results, and on changing mindsets to adjust to new realities. He’s recognized for the ability to establish rapport and credibility with diverse groups – from line staff to senior management.
Born in Switzerland, Patrick knew – at age seven – that he was meant for a career in hotels. He realized this dream in 30+ years of diverse hotel experience – prior to establishing Ghielmetti & Associates. This included working on four continents, primarily with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. His 25 years in operations culminated in two RVP roles, along with 5 years as VP HR Asia Pacific and Global Leadership Trainer.
He is proudly and happily married to Margaret – an artist on Chicago’s storytelling and solo show scene whose book of their years living around the world is Brave(ish): A Memoir of a Recovering Perfectionist.
Patrick loves classical music – as a vocalist and as a concert/opera goer. He is a graduate of Second City’s improvisation classes; an avid skier and scuba diver; ran two marathons; is into travel, films, books and different cuisines.
